The girls and I just got back from a great trip to Ohio to see family. While we were there, I was able to meet up with one of my closest friends, Marty and her little girl Quinn for a couple days too. Can’t believe it’s been nearly two years since we saw her last in Seattle! We got to go to a friend’s wedding, where Hannah Gray and Quinn danced, played, swung, rolled down a big hill, ate cupcakes and did everything else little girls would like to do in a sundress.
We went to the zoo with all of the Kuhnell side cousins, visited the infamous Root Beer stand, played in a creek, ate Skyline, celebrated Hannah Gray’s birthday and just absolutely exhausted herself from pure fun every day. We then headed to Findlay for more family and cousin time where we got to see the Petros from Chicago and participated in Nana and Papa camp, complete with an obstacle course, slip ‘n slide with shaving cream, train ride and s’mores, plus a cupcake birthday surprise!
We had a fantastic time in Ohio and came back in time to celebrate Daddy’s birthday and Father’s day in California. We miss everyone already and can’t wait for more time together again!!!
Birthday ride in Grandpa’s convertible and breakfast with Mimi and Grandpa (notice the progression of “smiles”. So much for somewhere in the middle…)
