District Champs

Well, we pulled it off in Columbus tonight. Which means, that we have approx. 6 days to welcome a new little fan in time for the state semi-finals. Hopefully lil' Petro will decide to participate with us next weekend! :)

9 Months and counting!

On Sunday, I had a great time of celebrating and catching up with some girlfriends from Miami. Here are some pictures of our time together and some pictures of my nine month belly... :)

So we thought we were starting into labor on Saturday evening after our childbirth class, a Mexican dinner and a 6 mile long walk. As I was keeping track of contractions and getting comfy, Ethan ran around and got everything completely ready to go. We went to bed expecting to sleep until it got more intense and no such luck! We woke up Sunday morning like we do every other morning.

This evening we head to Columbus with the lacrosse team for our district championship game so we've looked up hospitals in the Columbus area just in case. We're praying that lil' Petro decides to meet all of us within the next week! I guess that's up to him or her though, but at this point if he or she could wait until at least late tonight when we get back, that would be great!

Surprise!

Wow, we were super surprised Thursday night after our lacrosse game. The girls and parents had organized a surprise baby shower for us in the locker room immediately after our game. We had absolutely no idea. In fact, I stepped aside thinking it was for one of our player's birthday. They had drinks and dessert and the locker room was even decorated. Here are a couple pictures from the evening.

What a great gift! A friend of ours who is a talented photographer (Mac Stevens) came over and took some preggo pics for us! It was a fun little photo shoot that yielded some great pictures! Here are a few.

Family Shower

April 26th:

What a great afternoon! My sister-in-law, sister and my mom hosted a shower in Cincinnati for all of our family. We enjoyed wonderful company and incredible food.
